Records Officer
Records Officer Overview
Records Officer has time requirement of 10 hours.
The Records Officer is one of the two officer roles available in facility. The goal of records officer is to use his watches found in their signature locker inside the tool room. Using those watches you can provide various assistance to agents and managers. But you must use them wisely due to their long recharge times.
Your office also have Tool Abnormalities that agent can use to enhance their abilities, however, there are often drawbacks tied to them.
Watches
Watch | Ability |
---|---|
Wood Watch | Use this watch near melting down abnormality consoles in order to increase meltdown time, useful if agents cannot keep up with all the meltdowns. 5 minute cooldown, will be ready by the next meltdown, so make liberal use of this watch. |
Bronze Watch | This watch has the ability to delay arrival of next abnormality by 5 minutes, the use of this watch is to give extra time to agents that are struggling to clear ordeal or breach fast. 30 minute cooldown. |
Silver Watch | Allows Records Officer to check upcoming abnormality, quota goal, works until next meltdown and current number of abnormalities in facility. No cooldown, don't hesitate to use it often to stay up to date on how the Facility is going. |
Gold Watch | Allows Records Officer to temporarily stop time, this will stop time in an area around the user, this will freeze everyone in the area except the user, allowing them to either perform a quick escape or agents with ranged EGO to line up a barrage of shots. |
How to be a good Records Officer?
- Either get a clerk to start putting papers on abnormality doors or do it yourself since you do not have much to do other than using watches when needed. You can perform most of works that clerk can other than using E.M.A.I.S.
- You can take this even further and spray paint the name of abnormalities on their cell wall, allowing agents to quickly find them at a glance. You start with a few cans of infinite spraycan in your office.
- When people will ask questions about Abnormalities, you are expected to be the one to answer if the Manager does not. However, nearly every questions can be answered by reading an abnormality's document (that do you did put up in containment cells, right?)
- While not often used, leaving the document of tool abnormalities near them (found in the file storage in your office) can help agents figure out the effects of the tools and be able to safely use them.
- If there's no Manager, you are the only person able to keep people updated on what abnormalities are joining the shift. If nobody is running in the steeds of the manager, you will be given a random abnormality each time, so letting agents know what's coming will help greatly.
- AVOID using timestop near agents, this will freeze them and leave them vulnerable.
- Stand out of the way of people when it is dangerous, you are better than clerk at combat, but not an agent nonetheless.
